Together In Prayer

You do not have to be Catholic to say the rosary.

Although the rosary is a very special prayer to those who say it, if you are not comfortable with saying the rosary, we welcome you to join us in praying  1000 prayers for peace with us.

We welcome our Non-Catholic visitors to take the peace challenge with us.

Some of you may like to learn more about the rosary which is an aide to meditative prayer.  You may check out a few web-sites like:

This site answers questions for those unfamiliar

                    with the .rosary.

 http://www.divinecatholic.com/is-the-rosary-repetitive-prayer

This has some nice explainations beginning with

the concern that the rosary seems like a repetitious

prayer and directly violates the directive from

Jesus in Matthew, verse 6:7.  It goes on to explain

that the words are quoted greetings to Mary from

the Bible.  The Angel said, "Hail Mary full of

grace. The Lord is with you".  Elizabeth is quoted ,

"Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the

                     fruit of Thy womb, Jesus."

These words are repeated in the rosary, but are

used as a vehicle to help you meditate on the

mysteries of the rosary, which are a synopsis of the

gospels and the life of Jesus..

                      prayers and their meaning.

Thank you for visiting.  May the peace of the Lord be with you always!
